Such projects can, for example, improve hiring decisions, clarify staff members’ roles and responsibilities, and establish accountability measures for advancing strategic goals.

Our Story

HRArts launched in 2022 to meet the need for project-based HR support within workplaces of all sorts.

Because of the founder’s extensive experience with nonprofits, particularly within the performing arts sector, HRArts’ earliest clients included arts and arts-affiliated organizations. HRArts’ name suggests a focus on the arts. But from the beginning, the founder envisioned serving diverse organizations: non-arts and arts, for-profits and nonprofits, large and small. In fact, the name anticipates all such organizations because HR consists of such arts-related components as practice, discipline, creativity, individual expression, and performance.

Meet the Founder

Lisa Patrick Leet brings broad-based experience to HRArts. She practiced law for several years after graduating from Vanderbilt Law School.  Her legal practice evolved as she pursued her interest in employment law in a non-litigation setting. She served for more than two decades as the HR vice president of one of Kentucky’s largest nonprofit organizations, overseeing the growth of the HR team from 3 to 12 and the organization’s workforce from 300 to 1200.   While HR VP, Lisa also served for many years as a board member, including board president, of her children’s independent school and a major performing arts group.  Her board service added to Lisa’s HR skills and expertise.  Lisa is delighted to share, through the consultancy she founded, the value of HR with organizations that need project-based HR support.
