What HRArts’ clients say
"I’ve had the privilege to work with Lisa Patrick Leet for more than ten years, first as a fellow Louisville Ballet board member and now as Louisville Ballet’s Chief Executive Officer and an HRArts client. I have seen first-hand Lisa’s knowledge, expertise, and skills, as she has shared them with the organization’s board, management, staff, and artists. Her contributions have ranged from staff training, HR procedures, an employee handbook, an evaluation process by the Board for the Ballet’s senior leaders, and miscellaneous HR consultation.
Lisa is capable, hard-working, trustworthy, and discreet. She is a person of total integrity. Louisville Ballet is fortunate to have HRArts as a resource. I recommend her and her consulting firm enthusiastically."

"Louisville Ballet has partnered with HRArts on many projects: HR policy review and development, staff training, exit interviews, evaluation instruments for leadership performance, and workplace investigations.
Through all these projects I have observed Lisa, HRArts’ founder, to have deep knowledge in HR and employment law, good listening skills, sensitivity to equity, and a high degree of integrity. She consistently delivered high-quality work, frequently under significant time constraints. She became a valuable thought partner who could be trusted with highly confidential information.
For any organization seeking to improve individual and team effectiveness through quality HR practices, I highly recommend Lisa and HRArts as your partner of choice."

"Almost every non-profit organization in the country lacks the resources to afford an HR professional. There are consultants and companies that offer these services, but many of them don't fully understand, appreciate or have the passion for non-profits that can help make the translation of HR practices and policies seamless. Lisa Leet with HRArts is a seasoned HR professional with an extensive background in non-profit governance. She loves the arts and has dedicated a great deal of her time over the years to volunteering with arts organizations. She was a tremendous help to us at the Fund for the Arts. She helped our CFO/COO to shore up our HR policies and procedures and we have her on speed dial when we need help with an HR issue. I fully recommend Lisa and HRArts for all arts organizations regardless of size. She will work with you to find a solution that works for your organization and your budget."

"I would highly recommend HRArts, LLC and Lisa Leet to work with any organization who needs support in the human resource area. "Lisa and I served for several years together on Louisville Ballet’s board. During that time, I witnessed Lisa’s commitment and diligence to any project she undertook. I saw her absolute discretion and respect for the privacy and dignity of those with whom she worked. I observed her consistent application of fair process. Following her board service, Lisa handled a significant HR project for the Ballet as a consultant. Throughout the assignment, working closely with the Board President, she exemplified the same characteristics. In this and other challenging situations, Lisa has demonstrated competence, steadiness, good humor, and openness to feedback. "

"Seven Counties Services’ most important assets are the 1400 staff who care for the most vulnerable members of our community. Under Lisa’s decades of leadership as VP of Human Resources, Seven Counties’ workforce grew from 300 to 1400. Beyond overseeing this growth, Lisa used her expertise in HR generally and employment law specifically to manage risk, while also creating a safe, healthy, and productive workplace. Several examples of this combined expertise come to mind. Lisa developed a protocol for responding to complaints of workplace discrimination, harassment, and bullying. She launched Seven Counties’ Training Institute, providing live and online new employee orientation and both universal and specialized training to all staff members. She also instituted the Threat Assessment Team to detect threats and avert violence in the workplace. These initiatives allowed me as then-CFO to focus on operational efficiency and facilities management.
When staff are supported by a trusted and experienced HR team, you can rest assured you are on the right path to success. I have no doubt Lisa and HRArts can help you navigate the right path to success."

"Lisa is a dedicated, insightful, and thoughtful HR professional. I have known her since we were college classmates.
I worked most recently with Lisa when I was VP of Human Resources at The Center for Women & Families. On my invitation, Lisa served on the HR committee of The Center’s board. In that role, Lisa took on a year-long project to revamp the interview process: developing a library of behavior-based questions specific to The Center’s staffing needs. She also presented leadership training to The Center’s managers. Both the behavioral interview process and the leadership training were successful initiatives, largely because of Lisa’s expertise, organization, planning, and follow-through. Additionally, Lisa consistently provided constructive feedback to me on The Center’s other HR projects and programs.
Lisa is a delightfully warm, engaging, and attentive person and a stellar collaborator. Any organization can feel confident that Lisa’s analytical and thoughtful process will produce solid and effective results. Plus you are likely to enjoy the process. I highly recommend Lisa as an HR partner who will bring solutions to any thorny HR challenge. "
